Essential Job Functions:
  • Design and implement enterprise class web and application server infrastructure solutions.
  • Evaluate new product offerings and document findings/position.

  • Demonstrate Item Processing business and technical flow knowledge and how LOB partners use the Customer Dispute Workbench (CDW), Vector 8 (Reconciliation), Vector 4 and Adjustments Express (Adjustments), CPCS Batch, and Float Pricing applications to process traditional paper and image item processing and support their business by understanding and recommending solutions to their business problems. All applications are mainframe vendor applications except CPCS Batch (in-house developed - COBOL), CDW (in-house developed Visual Basic), and Adjustments Express (web with DB2).
  • Be an expert and trusted advisor to LOB partners and other technology areas for item processing and assigned applications.
  • Resolve complex business, technical or project related issues and architect technology solutions based on business strategy.
  • Act as the technology lead for requirements solicitation, estimating, project planning, process design, documenting detailed specifications, vendor product integration/upgrade, test documentation and data, testing, installation, and support of the applications including quality reviews.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with LOB Partners, vendors, Interface/support teams, and contacts at other financial institutions.
  • Ensure adherence to company technical standards and design principles including problem detection capabilities, version control, re-use, security, access control, software distribution, and disaster recovery.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and cross train teammates.
  • Energize and motivate the project team members to complete the project objectives.
  • Mentor and review the work of others and take leadership role.
  • Stay current and ahead of the curve on new technology solutions in the industry.
  • Provide production support on a rotation basis.

  • Be an expert and trusted advisor to LOB partners and other technology areas for item processing and assigned applications including Returns Processing Application.
  • Resolve complex business, technical or project related issues and architect technology solutions based on business strategy.
  • Act as the technology lead for requirements solicitation, estimating, project planning, process design, documenting detailed specifications, vendor product integration/upgrade, test documentation and data, testing, installation, and support of Returns Processing Application including quality reviews.
